This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit aerial-edge.com, why we process it, and the rights you have. We keep data collection to a minimum and use no advertising or analytics trackers.

This website is hosted by Alfahosting GmbH, Ankerstraße 3 b, 06108 Halle (Saale), Germany. When you access the site, the hosting provider automatically records technically necessary connection data in server log files: your IP address, date and time of the request, the file requested, the amount of data transferred, the referring page, and your browser type and operating system. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted after a short retention period.
When you send an enquiry through the contact form, we process the name, email address, subject and message you provide, together with your IP address at the time of sending. We use this data solely to receive and respond to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). If you contact us directly by email, we process the details you share for the same purpose. We retain this correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and to meet any statutory retention obligations, then delete it.
The site stores only your chosen colour theme and language locally in your browser (localStorage keys "ae-theme" and "ae-lang"). These values never leave your device, are not transmitted to us, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings. We set no analytics, advertising or profiling cookies, so no cookie-consent banner is required for such purposes.
Portfolio videos are embedded from YouTube using a click-to-play lightbox. No connection to YouTube is made until you actively start a video; only then does YouTube (Google Ireland Limited) receive your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. We embed video on the basis of our legitimate interest in presenting our work (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Our site links to external profiles (YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn) and to a Calendly booking page. When you follow these links or book a call, the respective provider processes your data under its own privacy policy, over which we have no control. If you schedule a call via Calendly, the booking details you enter are processed by Calendly to arrange the appointment.
All fonts are served from our own server. No external font service (such as Google Fonts) is contacted, so no data is transmitted to third parties when fonts load.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address above.
You may lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. For our establishment this is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Cyprus. If you are in the EU, you may also contact the authority in your country of residence.
This site is served over TLS (HTTPS) to protect data in transit between your browser and the server.
We update this policy when features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The current version always applies and is dated at the top of this page.
